A First Look at Austin's Latest Real Estate Market

No surprise here — Austin’s real estate market continues to BOOM! While the most official Austin Housing Market Report for October won’t be released for another week, I’d like to offer you a first look at some October year-over-year (YOY) insight.
The data below continues to show incredible and record-breaking housing statistics for our area!

Total home sales are up 19.74%, and the average price has jumped 18.91% to $462,540. The average median price has jumped 12.52% to $359,950. Homes are currently on the market at a median of 9 days compared to 28 days last October.
Total home sales are up 12.60 % and the average price has jumped a whopping 27.45% to $620,174. The average median price has jumped 14.89% to $460,870. Homes are currently on the market at a median of 7 days compared to 19 days last September.
